At Casa Axis, MRKA reimagined the tennis court — clay red ground with creamy, hand-drawn lines, sketched with his “wrong” hand to embrace imperfection. The result is playful, irreverent, and totally in tune with the spirit of Casa Axis.

What began as a court became a whole world: the visor, the crewneck, the headband, the shorts, the grip, the balls. Fragments of sport turned into symbols of creativity.

Created with his non dominant hand, the work bends the rigid rules of tennis into gestures of expression. The result sits between structure and spontaneity, sport and art — a reminder that both are about joy, movement, and possibility.

The rain poured down on the Japan National Stadium, but the finale of the World Championships still delivered unforgettable moments.

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden sealed her sprint treble with 4x100m gold, taking the baton from legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in her Worlds farewell. USA also stormed to a championship-record win in the women’s 4x400m, while Botswana’s Collen Kebinatshipi produced a breathtaking anchor leg to steal the men’s 4x400m title from the USA.

A fitting end to nine days of history, heartbreak, and brilliance. Tokyo 2025, you were special. 🌍✨

The relays lit up the track with USA taking gold in both the men’s and women’s 4x100m, while Jamaica and Great Britain kept the competition fierce with podium finishes.

Elsewhere, standout nations like Kenya, Ethiopia, and Botswana continued to deliver, proving the global strength of athletics.
