If you’ve noticed things slowing down a little on Service Break lately, there’s a good reason, and it’s one many of you will understand all too well. I’m currently in the final stretch of my dissertation for my last year of university. It’s that strange time of year when your brain is split in two:

The start of term always arrives with noise: fresh timetables, early mornings, sign-ups, freshers events, and the start of BUCS season. There’s a sense that everyone is already sprinting ahead, collecting achievements before you’ve even found your footing. But sometimes, returning to university doesn’t feel like a fresh start at all. It feels like exhaustion
